𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘆! 🇲🇽❤️

Time to say goodbye to the vineyards of Parras and head to Monterrey.

We arrived just in time for lunch and then started exploring downtown Monterrey, followed by a beautiful walk along Paseo Santa Lucía, one of my favorite ways to see the city.

From there we continued to Parque Fundidora and Horno 3, where we learned about the steel industry that played such an important role in transforming Monterrey into the industrial city it is today.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘀 🍷🇲🇽

We started the morning at Casa Madero, where the w**e history of Hacienda San Lorenzo dates all the way back to 1597. We toured the w**ery and cellars and, of course, finished with a tasting.

From there, we headed into the charming town of Parras de la Fuente for lunch, followed by something very important on a Mezzanotte trip… a little time to relax! 😊

That evening we gathered one last time for our farewell dinner at Casa Cenizo. Great food, w**e, lots of conversation and the perfect way to say goodbye to Parras before leaving for Monterrey the next morning.

𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽… 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗮! 🍷🍇

After a wonderful morning at Don Leo, our w**e adventure continued at Parvada, another beautiful w**ery in Parras, but with a completely different personality.

We walked through the vineyards and the beautiful property, followed by a private tasting paired with cheeses, charcuterie and other little bites. And yes… more w**e! 😊🍷

We finished our visit with dinner at the w**ery, the perfect ending to a full day of discovering the w**es of Parras.

Two w**eries in one day, two completely different experiences…and lots of great memories with this group! ❤️🍷

A great visit to Viñedos Don Leo in Parras Coahuila

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯 – 𝗩𝗶ñ𝗲𝗱𝗼𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗼 🍷🍇
Another beautiful day in Parras! We headed into the mountains to Viñedos Don Leo, where the vineyards sit at approximately 2,100 meters (6,900 feet) above sea level.

We toured the vineyards, learned how the altitude, warm days and cooler nights influence the grapes, and of course we enjoyed a tasting of their w**e.
Their Cabernet Gran Reserva 2013 put Don Leo on the international w**e map after wining the gold medal trophy for best Cabernet in 2020🍷

And because for us w**e is always better with food 😊, we finished our visit with a wonderful lunch overlooking the vineyards.

Beautiful scenery, great w**es, great food and even better company. Another special Mezzanotte day! ❤️

And we made it to Parras! 🍷🇲🇽

After lunch in Saltillo, we continued to Our home in Parras: historic Hacienda San Lorenzo, where the Casa Madero w**e story began in 1597—more than 400 years ago.

We were welcomed, of course, with a glass of w**e 🍷, settled into our rooms and later met again for a very special evening.

With a beautiful table under the huge old pecan trees, we enjoyed an amazing al fresco dinner with a special menu prepared just for our group, paired with Casa Madero w**es.

What a wonderful way to start our time in Mexico’s hidden w**e country! ❤️

DAY 7 - PERU ADVENTURE 2026
Today we said goodbye to our fabulous hotel in Urubamba and departed to the city of Cuzco. On the way we stopped to tour the fortress town of Sacsayhuamán and its impressive views over Cuzco.
At night we enjoyed Chifa food (a Peruvian - Chinese tradition).

DAY 6 - PERU ADVENTURE 2026
Today was (maybe) the main reason we all came: to visit the lost city of the Incas: Machu Picchu. We departed very early this morning from the train station at our hotel. What an amazing experience!!
