Not everyone selling vacations online is a legitimate travel professional.

A Ghost Travel Advisor may take your money, promise amazing deals, and then disappear when you need help the most.

🚩 Red Flag Warning Signs

❌ No agency name listed

❌ No business website

❌ No online presence

❌ Only accepts Zelle, Cash App, or Venmo

❌ Won’t provide supplier confirmations

❌ Refuses to use a credit card payment

❌ No travel credentials or certifications

❌ Difficult to reach after payment

❌ No support when travel plans change

❌ Uses only a personal social media page

❌ Can’t explain cancellation policies

Before you book your next vacation:

✅ Ask for supplier confirmations
✅ Pay with a credit card for added protection
✅ Make sure someone will be there if travel plans change

A real Travel Advisor doesn’t disappear after the booking.
