We had a great time camping at Brazos Bend State Park. Last time we were there we did not get to see any alligators but this time we saw quite a few. We also saw, deer, rabbits, and lots of armadillos, but we didn’t get any pictures of those. If you know what kind of snakes these are, please leave me a comment and let me know.

Earlier this year, we visited Perry’s family. His brother treated us to a glass blowing class which he taught. This is Perry making his glass.

Check out this guy! We’ve been following his story since the beginning. He’s traveling The Great Loop in a Jon Boat and trying to break a solo record. We are planning on taking this same route in a few years. Go Robert Go!!

Last October we made a trip to (I’ll post those videos later). While we were there we made a trip to Huntsville State Prison. My biological grandfather, whom I never met actually served time there. I spoke with one of the employees/volunteer and discovered he was in the Wynn Farms unit. So far that’s all I’ve learned. Family didn’t talk about him back in the day and no one living today to ask. All in good time.
