Some Frequently Asked Questions about Poland 🇵🇱

People ask me, “How do you go to a country that speaks a different language without a translator?”

Also, many Polish people speak English. If you learn basic phrases like “Dzień dobry!” which means “Good morning!” It goes a long way when interacting.

How did I get around(car rental, public transportation, etc)? I’ve used a rental car, train, and taxi. Skip the rental car and use taxis (Uber) or the train. You’ll thank me later 😂 if you MUST get a rental car, make sure you get your international drivers license 🪪

Why go to Poland? Poland is a very culturally rich country, with a ton of history. You can see how the people came together and really fought for this beautiful place! You can go to museums, walk the streets where history was happening, see the royal road and Wawel Castle, go to the Baltic Sea, and so much more!

What city would I recommend for 1st time visitors? Krakow, Warsaw, or Gdansk are my biggest suggestions. (Pro tip: if you go to Krakow, we got most of my favorite souvenirs either in the bazaar in old town square or in Zakopane)

Favorite experience? Touring Wawel Castle and enjoying the old town square in Krakow. Eating at the restaurants and just enjoying the atmosphere. Experiencing all the churches in Gdansk and Krakow. Exploring Zakopane and highlands.

What is the money exchange right now? Both of my trips 1 zloty = ~$0.27 USD

Would I go back? Yes! In 2 trips, I’ve spent 4 weeks in the country and it’s still not enough to see everything. If I go back I’d like to to spend some more time in Krakow and go to Warsaw.

Did you know there is a Harry Potter restaurant in Gdansk, Poland? 🤯

As I was enjoying the sites, I stumbled upon this place!

That’s the beauty of travel, you never know what you’ll see!

Chocolate butterbeer, chocolate frogs on the walls, pages from the Ministry of Magic, and the staff perform a little magic as you wait for your food with smoking cauldrons and fun!

Just UPGRADED 2 rooms for a family from their interior rooms to connecting spacious Oceanview balcony rooms on their Royal Caribbean Cruise this year!

We may have had to work our calls with a 7 hour time difference, but we made it happen! 🎉

This trip is going to be incredible for this family 🤩 so stoked for them to have the time of their lives!

And you all thought I was just over here having fun with no work being done 😉
