Shop update. I was out a few weeks with back issues and material shortages. I have gotten a load of mannikins delivered and put up a few deer, THEN shingles found me, and my ear, head, mouth and throat. I am in no way able to work or take calls much at the moment. I feel like a broken record this year but I apologize for the inconveniences. Chris@

Hey folks, a quick update. I am still experiencing a good deal of back pain and can't find much relief. I have not been able to do any work in the shop and for that I apologize. Materials are yet, nowhere to be seen and I am falling behind yet again, seems normal these days ! I am hopeful that in the next week I can get seen by a doctor and get some sort of relief that soon I can do a few deer as I recover. If you are waiting please be patient with me, I will be back to normal soon and while wait times are gonna be a bit longer I will get your mounts back ASAP. Chris.

Quick update in the shop. Last order, I was informed would be at least 5 weeks shipping out. WILL THIS EVER END !! Secondly, it would seem I have a ruptured disc in my lower back and can't walk down there anyhow. Sorry folks, but it appears life happens. Will be back and going full ahead asap, Chris.

I hate to do this publicly but I have no choice. If we have notified you that your mounts are ready to be picked up, it is somewhat of importance that this happen.
ONE - like most everyone else that works, I need compensated for materials purchased and a payday.
TWO- I don't have a facility the size of wal mart to "store" mounts. I must move finished mounts out ASAP that I can continue working. I am trying my best to get back decent turn around times for you guys, but simply cannot if work ceases because of mounts not being picked up. I'm not complaining on anyone in particular just being honest, I spend alot of my own money to purchase materials to do your mounts, I need reimbursement at least. Please help me help others by being as prompt as possible, Chris.

Hey all. I'm having to make a decision that I've not had to make in over 30 years in taxidermy. As of right now, I'm NOT taking any animals in for mounting, unless I have made prior arrangements and you are storing them. The amount of work ahead of me is causing long wait times and I simply want to try and get turn around times back too normal as I can. As of now, it might be possible that I can take on a few more projects late summer at best. Thanks, Chris.

Hey folks, I have a few minutes to update y'all. I have been dealing with gout for about a week now and still not fully over it. I'm planning on being back to mounting deer this week and have several mounts almost ready for pick up. As of right now I'm not taking any animals without arrangements made beforehand as I've had a freezer quit and now, am full again. I'll be contacting you as soon as your mounts are ready. Should be finishing up season before last deer in a few weeks. Appreciate all, Chris.

Good morning all. I have been covered up with calls and texts lately about mounts. YES ! I am overwhelmed with work, NO, I am not really behind. I have recieved many voice messages , and that's fine, but I cannot seem to get some to answer a call back or text. My phone, unless you have me saved as a contact usually shows BEREA KY. I am aware that some are beyond a year now and I am trying to shorten turn around times but with supply problems, shipping times and such it is impossible. 2024 EUROPEAN MOUNTS, its freezing cold and we cannot get those done until a little warmer weather, patience please !! I am close to wrapping up the remaing deer from season b4 last but unfortunately after these I will be transitioning to cats, foxes, bear and waterfowl to finish up the 2023 season. Guys, I ask for your patience and please answer your phones. I try to get back to everyone BUT it's impossible sometimes, We do forget time to time. I am very busy and cannot spend the majority of my time defending myself and explaining why not on the phone or texting. I do promise this, when I get your mounts ready, I will call and text that they are ready for pick up, again my phone does shows BEREA KY often. I don't want to extend your car warranty, sell you a window just get your mounts back to you asap. God bless all, Chris.

Hey folks, some Tuesday FYI. I am implementing a text notification for customers as to when your animals have been mounted as well, completion and pick up can be expected. When I find some free time I hope to also add a spreadsheet that I can update as to where you're at in line and approx wait times. I am not certain as of now how this will work but keep an eye out here for more info. Pls feel free to share this post as others might be able to be informed. Thanks, Chris.
