Fall is showing off in Idaho Springs.

Golden aspens, crisp mountain air, historic Miner Street, and views that make you want to stay awhile—all just 30 miles from Denver.

Ride the Mighty ARGO for a whole new view of the season, explore the trails, soak in the hot springs, grab a bite downtown, shop local, and make a day, or a weekend of it.

You don’t have to go far to find something real.

Idaho Springs. So much to do. So close to home.

Everyone knows Guanella Pass. Here’s another road to fall. 🍂

Start in Evergreen, follow County Road 66 and CO 103 along the Mount Blue Sky Scenic Byway, and let the golden aspens lead you straight into Idaho Springs.

The drive brings the views. Idaho Springs brings the great food, local drinks and special fall b**rs waiting at the finish.

Save this route for your next leaf-peeping day, and check COtrip before heading into the mountains.

Some of the best specials taste like home. 🌮🥣

For Taco Tuesday at Tommyknocker, Luis and José are bringing authentic flavor to the table with handmade beef-and-rice meatballs, pinto beans, cilantro and rich tomato broth.

Add a squeeze of lime and a warm tortilla, and you have exactly the kind of meal you want after a day in the mountains.

Stop by Tommyknocker in Idaho Springs, ask about today’s special and come hungry.

Folklore says a good monsoon season brings brilliant fall color. 🍂

Soon, Clear Creek’s aspens will trade green for gold, and Slaymaker Cellars has the perfect pour to welcome the season. Their Wildflower Reserve Mead is oak-aged, completely dry, and layered with almond, red w**e, and warm honey notes.

Save this for your fall foliage drive through Clear Creek County. 🍯🍁

🍺 Every bartender has that one b**r they recommend first.

For me? It's the Jack Whacker Wheat Ale.

Light, refreshing, and brewed right here in Idaho Springs, it's the kind of b**r that keeps locals coming back and first-time visitors ordering a second round.

Next time you're at Tommyknocker, skip overthinking the menu. Start with the Jack Whacker. Trust me.

Who's grabbing one with you? 🍻

Some businesses are built in a community. Slaymaker Cellars was built with one. 🍯

When Cris helped found this Idaho Springs meadery, the goal was bigger than making great mead. It was about creating an employee-owned business that gives local people the opportunity to share in its success.

For Cris, Idaho Springs isn’t just where the business lives. It’s home. It’s where she raises family, builds lifelong friendships and grows alongside a community that believes in one another.

That’s what makes this town so special.

Some people pass through. Others stay long enough to see the town slow down.

Walk Miner Street after dark, take your time at dinner, then wake up to a quiet winter morning at Club Hotel.

Idaho Springs takes more than one day.
