It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Frakes Engineering Inc. President, James L. Frakes. Jim passed away on Wednesday, January 5th 2022. Jim has been an integral part of Frakes Engineering Inc. since 1979 when he founded the company with his late brother, Bill. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Jim have lost an inspiring mentor and dear friend, he will be greatly missed by many. We will honor Jim’s memory by dedicating ourselves to continue the work he loved so much. Jim and Bill left a company they built from the ground up, and their drive and passion will forever be the foundation of Frakes Engineering Inc. Please keep Jim’s family in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.

It isn't easy to fully express the gratitude we have for the incredible dedication and loyalty that Mike Anthony has to Frakes, where he has worked for the past 40 years. Mike began his career at Frakes in January of 1981 as our fourth employee and has worked with many of our long-time customers and suppliers as one of our key senior engineers.

The early to mid-eighties was an exciting time for industrial PLCs, and Mike embraced the new technology helping to keep Frakes' evolving skillset relevant. It was a time of constant and dramatic change; Mike enjoyed the challenge of absorbing these new technologies and worked to make them readily available to our customers.

After a much-deserved vacation period, Mike will continue to support a select group of customers, albeit at a few fewer hours per week than he is accustomed to.

Please join all of us at Frakes in congratulating Mike on this incredible accomplishment and an awe-inspiring milestone in his career.
