Another summer is over for us here at Florida Sea Base. The last scouts left this morning and we have left our summer mooring and are back at the dock for the fall and winter season! It was a beautiful morning to bring the boat to the dock with dolphins greeting us as we headed past the headpin.

Now it’s days in the gear room and boat projects that are easier to do on the dock! It’s been a whirlwind of a summer and we are looking forward to shorter work days and weekends (2 whole days) off with my sweetie!

It was a productive and fun day on Syrinx! JR is feeling so much like his old self that he wanted to tackle a project we’ve needed to do for quite some time! We needed to go up the mast to put new lines for our flags up. He did a great job and the new flags are looking good! If you are wondering, our mast is 60’ off the water!
