Au Charmaunt Petite Lac have a new luxury suite! The suite has panoramic views looking out onto the lake, accompanied by the mountains, its own seating area outside and a gorgeous shower/round bath tub inside. ‼️Important Information‼️
As of the 2025/2026 winter season, Italy have announced helmets will be mandatory for all skiers, snowboarders and toboggan runs in Italy, regardless of age. This means that there will no longer be any exceptions for adults, and everyone will have to wear an approved protective helmet.
Those who fail to comply with the helmet requirement may be subject to fines and, in some cases, withdrawal of ski pass.
The decision in Italy to make helmets compulsory for everyone is motivated by a desire to increase safety on the slopes and reduce the risk of head injuries in the event of falls or collisions.
If you have booked with us this winter and have not got a helmet, make sure you buy one or contact us to add helmet hire to your package ⛷️❄️💕

Hotellerie de Mascognaz has a few exciting updates for you! They have now been awarded an extra star so are officially a 5 star hotel. They have been working on some of the chalets over the past few months, updating bathrooms and refreshing the interiors. The new chef has arrived and has been busy too. Get ready this winter for even more delicious meals at Mascognaz!

The next step in the make over will be an outdoor pool/hot tub, but work has yet to start and they won’t give us an estimated date for the completion. They have told us that work will begin when the summer season finishes and the hotel closes mid-September but this is something we are sure you are all looking forward to!! 🤪🏊🏻‍♀️💕❄️

As the summer weather has been very temperamental in the Uk ! We reminisce over Christmas in Champoluc.
As winter began, Christmas 2024 was white over and a snow dump into the new year. Christmas in Champoluc is truly magical as the town is filled with festive decorations and Christmas lights! New year is also one to remember, the town is lit up with fireworks as the whole valley celebrates, 7 course meals are eaten and the Italian ski school have their traditional “Fiaccolata” - torch light decent. Guiding ski school kiddies down the mountain with torches, lighting up the slopes in the dark- truly magical when you get involved or when watched from afar !
