I don’t think Landon got the memo that he’s supposed to be too old for Disney. 😂 Just kidding, you’re NEVER too old for Disney!

My 15-year-old was having the BEST time dancing and making the water move at Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana at Epcot, and honestly? These are the moments I hope I never forget. 🥹❤️

Because one day, our kids grow up. The trips look different, the things that excite them change, and eventually, we may not know how many more family vacations we’ll get to take with them.

And that’s exactly why I’ll keep saying YES to these trips for as long as I can.

It’s not just about the rides or the characters or even the magic of Disney. It’s about watching your teenager let loose, laugh, be silly, and enjoy being a kid a little while longer. It’s about the memories we’re making together, even when we don’t realize just how special they are in the moment.

🐾❤️ They’re only a part of our lives for a little while, but we’re their whole world for their entire lives. 😭

From riding in the side-by-side with Tony to running around the yard with Charleigh, Cali is right there in the middle of our everyday moments, making them a little more special. 🐶

It’s easy to get caught up in how quickly our kids grow up, but our furry babies grow older right alongside them. One day, we’ll look back on these ordinary moments and wish we could have just one more day of them.

So take the extra walk, throw the ball one more time, let them tag along for the ride, and take ALL the pictures. Because to them, it’s not just another day. It’s a day spent with their favorite people. 🥹🐾❤️

🥹❤️ One of my favorite pictures from our trip, and it’s not even the picture I was taking.

Tony captured me taking a picture of Charleigh and me on Dumbo, and I love it so much because it captures something bigger than just a moment on a ride. It captures why we do this.

Our kids are only little for so long. One day, they’ll be grown, off building lives of their own, and these days of holding their hands, riding their favorite rides, and watching their faces light up with excitement will be memories we wish we could relive just one more time. 🥹

So, we take the trips. We make the memories. We take a million pictures (because you can never have too many 😉). And we soak up as much time together as we possibly can.

👻 Happy World Teachers’ Day to all the teachers out there!

My teacher scaries might look a little different because I teach Young Fives… but I promise, every teacher has their own version of scary. 😂

Teaching is HARD. And sometimes the things that scare us most aren’t even the big things—they’re the tiny, relentless things that happen 47 times before 10 a.m. 😅

But behind all of those “scaries” are teachers who show up every day, love their students, clean up the messes, wipe the tears, tie the shoes, answer the questions, reteach the lesson, and give a little more of themselves than they probably have left to give.

So today, here’s to the teachers who are tired but still showing up.
The teachers who question if they’re doing enough.
The teachers who care WAY more than anyone realizes.
And the teachers who somehow survive another day of classroom chaos. ❤️
