We are so excited about the NEW additions to our Spotlight on St. Marys Summer Camp this year!

While we visited the Cumberland Island Museum last year and even got to tour it with a ranger, this year we will gain access to the museum's archive. This way, kids get to experience up close Timucua artifacts, items from Carnegie mansions, and much more not normally accessible to the public!

In addition, Seagles will invite us to their restaurant to make our own pizza and will then provide us with a surprise sweet treat afterwards!

Finally, we will get a VIP tour inside the historic Riverview Hotel, which hosted such prominent guests as Rockefellers and Carnegies and is even said to be haunted!

All of this is in addition to last year's favorite fun and interactive activities such as cast netting, pottery making, scavenger hunts, a trip to Cumberland Island, and so much more!

We are offering camps in BOTH June and July, but our June 9 date is fast approaching. Don't miss out on the fun!

What kids love about our Spotlight on St. Marys Summer Camp is the incredible variety of activities it offers!

From VIP access to museums with hands-on experiences led by Cumberland Island rangers to an action-packed visit to Cumberland Island's ruins and beach.

From pottery making and crafts to a pizza-making class.

From scavenger hunts in downtown St. Marys to a soccer-like game local Native Americans would have played.

Whatever your child's passions, this camp is sure to ignite them and give them a better appreciation for the place they live!

On Day 4 of our Spotlight on St. Marys Summer Camp, we focus on something that's always a hit: submarines!

First, we get a VIP tour of the St. Marys Submarine Museum from the director himself, who tells us about unusual submarine residents - animals! We then get to "drive" a submarine and even look through a real periscope over the St. Marys River!

Then, at snacktime, why not make an edible submarine out of twinkies and M & Ms?

Afterwards, we craft the animals we would like to have with us on a submarine, from puppies to frogs and more. The kids really get creative with this one!

Then, it's on to an unexpectedly popular activity: a scavenger hunt in Oak Grove Cemetery! The historic graves here have so much symbolism, and the kids have a blast searching them out!

By the end of the day, it's time to take advantage of our being at beautiful St. Marys Waterfront Park and get our energy out with games and relay races!
