Picked up the paper this morning and it really put something into perspective for us.

There’s a lot happening across the Morongo Basin right now. Different programs, different people, different impact… all in the same community.

From Miracle League to the Music Series to what’s coming next with AI, it’s a reminder that this area is growing in ways people don’t always see.

We’ve had the chance to be connected to some of this work through Basin Wide Foundation. One of us as Executive Director, the other as the self-appointed “ #1 volunteer” 😂

We’re also members ourselves at the family level, which just feels like a small way to support something we believe in.

A lot of people are showing up for this community in different ways.

We’ll always respect that. 🫶🏽

I walked back into church after 3+ years and the first thing I saw was a newspaper clipping of me on the sign-in table. 🥹📰

They’d kept it.
They’d been praying for me.
They’d been cheering me on… and I had no idea.

In a season where I’ve quietly wrestled with wanting to feel loved, accepted, and supported the way I show up for others, this felt like God tapping me on the shoulder like “Hey, I never forgot you. And neither did they.” ✨

I’ve been MIA for about 3–4 years, and yet this tiny church in Yucca Valley has shown me more consistent love and support than a lot of family, friends, coworkers, and colleagues ever have. (No shade)

This is what God’s love looks like sometimes:
Not fireworks.
Not a big dramatic sign.
Not just with people who look like you.
Just a little clipping on a table, waiting for you to come home.

If you’ve been lowkey craving that kind of love and community — the kind where people remember you, pray for you, and are genuinely happy you exist JUST AS YOU ARE — consider this your sign. Come sit with me this Sunday (and every Sunday) at 11 AM. I’ll save you a seat☺️
