January and February things.
1. We kicked off the new year going to Knotts with the scout troop on a rainy Sunday.
2. Funnel cake with boysenberry is a must. Although the kid didn’t want it, so I got it on the side.
3. Kicking off our final cookie season. It’s been very bittersweet.
4. Peanut Butter Sandwiches are my favorite. ❤️

I think I have finally recovered from the holidays. Retail is the worst. I realized I didn’t post any pictures from November or December. Looking at my phone I really didn’t take a lot of pictures at all. 🫤 Here’s a Nov/Dec combo post mid January. 🤷🏼‍♀️
1. Pretty sunset one of the times I was in AZ.

7. We brought my mom and the dog here for Christmas. Lyra sat like this the whole way.

October things… I know I say it every month.. October was gone in a flash.
1. Took myself to the Release Party of a Showgirl. This was maybe the most expensive breakfast ever. ❤️‍🔥
2. Clouds
3. I walked around to get in my car and a squirrel was just sitting there. We looked at each other for a sec and by the time I got my phone he was running away.
4. The day it rained and water had taken over a whole lane in the freeway.
5. Festive pot pies that the elder child brought us for dinner.
6. On the road again

8. It was such a pretty sunny day

10. The kids contribution to the decor for our Scout Halloween party
11. Our traditional Halloween party dinner. Dino nuggets, Alfredo pasta, garlic bread and salad.

August things…. Apparently I didn’t take a lot of pictures this month. 🤷🏼‍♀️
1. The kid started their Senior year. 😭
2. I actually spent more days in California than Arizona.
3. There’s been some random cows walking through my mom’s yard. 🤷🏼‍♀️
4. Baby bunny and some prickly pears
5. Pretty setting sun
6. I took some cupcakes to work one day for a treat, and I managed to get the last one.
7. The cats turned 9!
8. The ring video where we figured out it was cows. It’s hard to make out, but you can hear their hoofs clomping.

July things…
I spent more days in Arizona than I did in California. My dad passed away July 5th. I looked at a lot of old pictures.
1. The sun going down on July 30th
2. Maybe the most 70’s picture ever? lol I found some pictures of infant me I’d never even knew existed. The giant bean bag one made me laugh. We had that thing long into my childhood.
3. Carrying on my dad’s tradition of making the dogs treats. She was supervising.
4. Roadrunner!
5. And oldie of me, my dad and brother.
6. Baby quails gave me so much joy during this amazing hard time.
7. My fave rocks
8. My Seniors kid backpack.
9. Maybe my favorite picture I took all month.
10. I was fine going through all the pictures of my dad, then I came across an envelope of pictures of my Grandma Louise and I lost it. I’d maybe only seen one picture of her ever. She passed away when my mom was little.

13. The Long-tailed Grackle at the watering hole.
14. We had a Vernors toast to my dad after he passed. A few days before he wanted Vernors and we went on a hunt for it. He was pure joy on his face when we found it and he took a sip.

June things… I don’t know how June is gone already.
I spent close to half of it in Arizona.
1. Upside down boop with teefs!
2. June gloom bloom
3. Went to the cat cafe with our scout troop
4. He was staring into my soul
5. This is Sid sleeping on his throne like the king he is cuddling with his monkey.
6. Headed to AZ before dawn
7. Didn’t really get a good picture with all three dogs together.

9.. My favorite rock formation on the way to my parents.

12. I saw a roadrunner for the first time in a long time! I also saw a Jack rabbit last night that I thought was a small coyote at first. But I didn’t get a picture.
13. Went to Culver’s for the first time.
14. Late evening drive in.. sunset on the fave rocks.

1. The biggest onion ring I’ve ever had.

April things! I can’t believe it’s almost May. Another month gone in a flash.

6. The cool Oriole plate I found at the thrift store that was a reward for Avon reps in the 70’s.

11. My sister went to Costa Rica and Mr. Blue Jeans the poison dart frog now lives rent free in my brain.

Happy Easter to those who celebrate! I spent most of the day at work, where we were surprisingly busy. I had no idea Easter was a day people went to the mall. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Anyway, these were the March ornament of the month set! I thought we should have some bunnies in fancy hats. The one with the glasses and bow tie is my favorite.
