❤️ Why Trips Like This Matter

This trip wasn't just about checking destinations off a list.

It was about spending uninterrupted time together, sharing new experiences, learning outside of the classroom, and creating memories we'll talk about for years to come.

Travel has a way of strengthening connections and offering perspectives we can't always gain from home.

I'm so grateful for this opportunity with my son, and it reminded me exactly why I love helping other families create their own unforgettable adventures.

Because the souvenirs fade, but the memories last forever. ✈️

⚓ What You Should Know Before Visiting Boston

Boston quickly became one of my favorite stops on our trip!

Here are my tips:

🍀 Walk the Freedom Trail to experience the city's rich history.
🍀 Boston is very walkable, but comfortable shoes are essential.
🍀 Allow extra time to explore the unique neighborhoods.
🍀 Public transportation makes getting around easier than driving.
🍀 Seafood lovers—you'll have plenty of delicious options!

Boston has such a unique blend of history and modern city life. It was fascinating to experience it all firsthand.

New York City definitely lives up to the hype!

A few things I'd recommend:

✔️ Don't try to do everything in one trip.
✔️ Use the subway—it can save both time and money.
✔️ Pack comfortable shoes (again... your feet will thank you!).
✔️ Leave room in your schedule for spontaneous discoveries.
✔️ Consider seeing a Broadway show if it fits your interests.

The energy of New York is unlike anywhere else. There is always something happening around every corner.

🇺🇸 What You Should Know Before Visiting Washington, DC

Washington, DC surprised me in the best way! Here's what I'd recommend:

✨ Most of the Smithsonian museums are FREE.
✨ Wear comfortable shoes—we walked A LOT.
✨ Plan museum visits in advance so you can prioritize what matters most to your family.
✨ Early mornings and evenings are the perfect times to visit the monuments.
✨ Look at the Washington Monument from a different perspective.

Seeing places like the memorials and government buildings firsthand made history come alive in a way textbooks never could.

The Adventure Begins

Last week, I had the opportunity to explore Washington, DC, New York, and Boston with my son, and what an incredible experience it was! ❤️

There is something special about traveling together and seeing history, culture, and iconic landmarks through your child's eyes.
