💛 Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise line help me feel the most confident and safe to eat for our family with multiple food allergies!

💃 Our next trip we will be trying out Hoop-Dee-Doo R***e, which has a prefix menu. We’ve never tried this dining experience before! I’m so excited to see how they accommodate us with allergies to gluten, dairy, peanut, oat, and eggs — given their menu of fried chicken and strawberry shortcake! 🍰

✨ Wish Families — I’m looking for a few beta testers! ✨

Hi everyone! My name is Caitlin. I’m both a Wish mom and a Disney travel planner, and I created something specifically for families preparing for a Wish trip to Orlando.

When our own son received his Wish, I remember how exciting it was… but also how many moving pieces there were to understand. Things like navigating the parks with the Wish Pass, Give Kids The World logistics, deciding what to prioritize, and pacing the days so the trip feels magical instead of overwhelming.

Because of that experience, I created a guide called the Wish Trip Starter Blueprint.

It walks families through thoughtful ways to approach planning a Wish trip — things like:
• understanding how Wish trips work in the parks
• Give Kids The World logistics
• organizing priorities before you go
• pacing your days so your Wish Kid can truly enjoy the experience
• sample itineraries and planning strategies

Right now it’s in beta testing, and before I share it more widely I’d love feedback from Wish families who are currently planning a trip or recently returned.

I’m offering free access to the Blueprint for beta testers in exchange for honest feedback on what was helpful and what could be improved.

🚢 Three nights on the Disney Wish with our 10-month-old — while our big kids stayed home for a “big kid date” with our nanny.

It ended up being one of the most relaxing trips we’ve taken.
Cruising with a baby felt so different from traveling with toddlers or older kids. Everything moved at a slower pace. There were so many places to sit, pause, and just enjoy the moment. 🌊

One afternoon we parked the stroller with our sleeping baby next to us at one of the coffee shops and played chess. It’s such a small memory, but it perfectly captured the rhythm of the trip. 😌

The Disney Wish has so many cozy spaces like that — lounges, quiet corners, coffee spots — where you can actually relax instead of constantly moving.

And the food… I’m still thinking about the scallops. 😋
If your family has food allergies or needs modifications, Disney Cruise Line makes it incredibly easy. Every dining team we’ve had has been thoughtful and accommodating.
Three nights was the perfect little reset.

Now I’m curious…

✨Planning a Wish Trip to Orlando is one of the most beautiful gifts a family can receive…

But if you’re just beginning to plan, (or you’re in the middle of planning one), you probably know something else too:
There are so many opportunities, decisions, and moving pieces.

When we planned our son’s Wish trip, I remember thinking:
This is the most complicated Orlando trip I’ve ever planned! With so many opportunities gifted, and limited time, it was difficult to make it efficient and still keep flexibility and flow in it!

So I took my method and put it on paper to help families move through this process too! 🫶

Oh the emotional swings 😂

My position as a Travel Agent specializing in Disney and Wish families has given me some amazing opportunities. This trip to tack on some Disneyland ‘research’ to a conference trip is one of those special opportunities!

Day 1 in Disneyland was lovely, fun, and HAPPY!

Things I was glad to do solo?
🏰 The Disneyland Railroad. Those Dino’s are intense and our little kids would have been shocked.
🏰 The Wish lounge — the Wish-granting process for kids just makes my heart burst. Pree the Wish star in the Wish lounge the video!
🏰 The allergy-friendly 7 Greens gumbo at Tiana’s. It. Was. Spicy.

In all truthfulness, I’m glad to be here and extraordinary thankful. But my family is my heart, and they will ALWAYS be missed when I’m away.
