Beginning at NOON this Sunday, June 14th, 2026, you’re invited to Historic Gretna for Jefferson Parish’s America 250 Celebration!!!

Sunday will be a jam-packed family-friendly day to commemorate our nation’s upcoming 250th birthday!
There will be entertainment, live music, food, activities, a parade & even a DRONE show that will LIGHT UP THE SKY to cap it all off at 8:30 pm.

Grab the krewe & dress in your red, white & blue to JOIN US in downtown Gretna for a Sunday of patriotic celebration.

KPD encompasses a dedicated krewe of community driven spirits & today we chatted with the Chief about everything from their FREE outreach programs: The Citizens Academy AND The Women’s Defense Clinic, to what the force continues to do to protect our youth from online predators.
