You will experience the real Almeria and you won't want to go home! In my previous life, I was an IBMer who graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Finance. Although I was born and raised in Alaska, I couldn't wait to get to away from the cold and into the sun. While living in Arizona, I developed my love for travel, going with friends to different parts of Mexico, and traveling with a friend to celebrate the holidays in Jakarta and Bali Indonesia. I loved discovering the customs, the food, and the people of new places. IBM attracted me to work for them because of the opportunities to live and work abroad and I was able to do just that. I had the amazing opportunity to live in Malaysia and I took full advantage of living in the heart of SE Asia and traveled to all through Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Bali, Taiwan, and China. In addition, I traveled to Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, India, and Spain for different assignments and I always took the opportunity to stay and explore.
Now. I am living a quieter life in southern Spain and loving it! I am excited to meet you and show you around my lovely second home, Almería! I will also be organizing trips to SE Asia in 2026. As I mentioned, I love experiencing a country to the fullest. Exploring the food, the drinks, the culture, THE PEOPLE, and taking in the beauty of a place, whether that is a city with cute cafés, a hidden cover or a beautiful hike into the mountains. I can't wait to share my discoveries with friends like you, especially those few have yet to discover.
