So next year is a big year for me as I move into a new decade. I began thinking about all the different ways I can celebrate and all the trips I can do and suddenly a question popped into my head. Why do we have to wait for some big event or milestone to celebrate or take the trip? Shouldn’t we celebrate something every day? I have learned through loss that life is short. Milestones are sometimes never reached. Trips never taken. Words never spoken. So . . .

People always ask about seasickness and river cruising. Sometimes the overs can be fast and a bit rough but the ships are amazingly stable and as you can see, the water outside was moving fast but the water in the glass is not moving at all.

Here’s one reason I choose to travel with . While many companies take their clients to SEE the tulip and tulip fields, we visited a farm where the owner told us about growing tulips and then allowed us to walk into her field and “pluck” 10 tulips each! What an amazing experience to stand in that field of color and understand the work that went into growing these beautiful flowers!
