Our Narnian adventures took us underground this week! We read The Silver Chair and had a great time exploring underground at Appalachian Caverns. Thank you to our great guides!

We had a great time at the lake tonight, enjoying our experience of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader! "This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that by knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there."

The FBS Narnia Program is back! This unique program involves 7 adventure sessions, each one focused on a book from C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia. Adventure sessions include field trips to different "Narnian" locations each week, fun activities and food related to the stories, and different levels of discussion groups. You don't have to participate in every session to join in the fun, but we do encourage you to read or listen to all the books as we go. Adventure sessions will occur on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer, roughly 5-9pm. Bus transportation from FBSUMC will be available for middle and high school participants. Adults and families are welcome to participate as well. Accompanying adults are required for elementary school students (recommended age: 3rd grade and above).

Our first session is focused on the Lion the Witch, amc the Wardrobe. Join us at Laurel Run Park on Wed., June 12, 5pm-8pm.

First Broad Street UMC will be hosting Narnia Adventures again this summer!

Participants are encouraged to read each book before the session. Bus transportation from FBSUMC will be available for middle and high school participants.
