Continuing our drive south through the South African Garden Route towards Capetown, we had two fun stops. First was Cango Caves and then an Ostrich farm. The evening ended with a beautiful dinner where Ostrich was on the menu.

Another day, another beautiful hike. After a ferry ride to Featherbed Nature Reserve, across the bay from Knysna, S.A., we took a jeep ride to the top and hiked 2.2 km down to the beach.

Adventure in Tsitsikamma National Park!

We hiked through lush forest trails to the famous suspension bridges, with the Storms River roaring below and the ocean stretching endlessly. Crossing the swaying bridge was gave us incredible canyon views.

And just when we thought the day couldn’t get better, a rock hyrax (dassie) popped out to greet us 🐾. Nature always has surprises!

🌴✨ Exploring the beauty of Eswatini at Happy Valley Hotel! ✨

My recent stay at Happy Valley Hotel was filled with relaxation, warm Swazi hospitality, and unforgettable experiences. Nestled in the beautiful Ezulwini Valley, the hotel is perfectly located for exploring some of Eswatini's most unique attractions.

One of the highlights of my visit was spending time at the nearby cat sanctuary, where rescued big cats are cared for in a safe and natural environment. Seeing these magnificent animals up close while learning about conservation efforts made the experience both inspiring and memorable.

Kruger National Park is an absolute ‘must see’. In 5 game drives over 2.5 days, we saw Kudu, Impala, Warthogs, Zebra, Giraffes, Elephants, Hyenas, Ostrich, Lions, Hippos, Tortoises, Eagles, Baboons, Monkeys and Leopard.

The scenery is lush and beautiful and our safari guide was amazing at spotting animals and maneuvering to get the best pics.
