Rusk County Economic Development & Tourism is putting together a directory of businesses throughout the county to help visitors find local places to shop, eat, stay, and explore.

🌿 Indigenous Peoples’ Day at the Anishinaabe Exhibit 🌿

Join us for a special day of learning, culture, and celebration at the Anishinaabe Exhibit at the Rusk County Historical Museum in Ladysmith.

📅 October 12
📍 Rusk County Historical Museum, Ladysmith

The day begins at 9:00 AM with a traditional pipe ceremony, followed by:

🪶 Traditional Native dancers
🍽️ Food sampling featuring native ingredients
🧵 A free beading workshop

Come experience and celebrate Anishinaabe culture through traditional ceremony, dance, food, and art. 🌿✨

Rev up, hit the trails, and ride for a cause! 🌲

Join the ATV/UTV Poker Run on Saturday, October 3rd for a day of riding, fun, prizes, and supporting our youth!

📍 Registration: Long Branch in Ingram
🕘 Registration begins: 9:00 AM
💵 Entry Fee: $10
🏆 Prizes: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place
🏁 End Time: 9:00 PM at Long Branch
🍹 Bargo After!

Must be 18 to play poker, but anyone can ride!

Donations are welcome and help support the event's youth-focused cause. A big thank-you to the local businesses and organizations supporting the ride! 🙌

📍 Rusk County Farmers Market — Ladysmith

🥧 6" pumpkin pie with whipped cream
❤️ Bid on your favorite! Place your donation in their bucket to help them win.
🏆 Winner takes the prize! Plus, a $20 gift certificate to the market will be drawn from the winning sponsor's bucket.
