Hey friends! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on here but I promise I had a good reason!

• I had my son at the VERY end of December (literally 12/30). Since then I’ve been navigating two under two and finishing out the school year. I wanted to enjoy those first months because they go by so quick! So I took a break from making content and posting.

• Now I’m back or at least more than I was haha We even have our first Disney trip with both kids in August, so I will definitely have updates 😊

• Did you know that on-site Walt Disney World guests tend to have better chances for scoring those hard to get dining reservations?

• This is because dining opens 60 days (for up to 10 days) from check-in for onsite guests.

• For off-site guests this window opens at 60 days, every day. So if you are staying off-site and want reservations for 6 days, your reservations have to be made each day after that window opens.

⭐️ Figment was one of the first characters ever to be created exclusively for a theme park attraction.

⭐️ Hidden Mickeys: In the “sight” room, look at the dry erase board. You will see a Mickey head on the dry erase board. Also, pay attention to the headphones on the table in the same room, and you will notice that there are Mickey ears on the headphones. When you are in one of the final scenes after the big “blast,” look at the “A” in “Action.” You will notice a Mickey head in the snow capping the “A.”

⭐️ When you think of a dragon, you may think of green as the first color choice. Since Kodak was sponsoring the ride, they wouldn’t want green as the color for the main character since that is the primary color for Fuji Film. Purple was decided on as the color for Figment and wouldn’t have any brand interference.

✨ 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐚 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 ✨

⭐️ There are actually four different hidden Mickeys in the final scene, the Christmas scene. You will notice a Mickey nutcracker on the mantel over the fireplace. There is also a white Mickey peppermill in the kitchen. You will also notice a painting on the dining room wall that looks like Mickey. Lastly, and probably most obviously, there is a plush Mickey within the presents.

⭐️ When the attraction opened at the Magic Kingdom in 1975, it opened with the song, “The Best Time of Your Life” instead of the original song. In 1994 the attraction was restored to its original glory, and “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” came back as the theme song for the attraction.

⭐️ The voice of the father and main character in the attraction is voiced by Jean Shepherd. He is the same actor who voiced the favorite Christmas movie, “A Christmas Story.”
