I’m going to be the “ribbon cutter” for a new Barnes & Noble on September 9! The new store location is:

Ribbon cutting will be at 9 AM, with meet and greet/book signing immediately following. Copies of my other books will also be available, but the main highlight will be my brand new book called The Lost History of Walt Disney World. Will I get to see you there?!? 🥰📚

So there was a little bit of confusion in my last video. I use the term “consignment” without explaining what that means in Disney merchandise terms. So hopefully this explains everything, and gives you a little peek behind the curtain and how Disney jewelry manufacturing works.

The Disney jewelry is getting alittle more love in Disney Springs! This is a way better presentation of some of the sparkly Disney pieces, compared to the horribly lit cases on the other side of the store. I think this was a smart move by the Co-Op and merchandise display team.

Bellwether came out to play on Day 2 of D23 Expo! This was one of the most comfortable cosplays I’ve ever done! (and was probably my most complimented)

Shockingly enough, I didn’t really take that much content on this day, it was mostly selfies. The day was filled with chatting with friends, meeting Disney artist, and perusing the displays. The Disney Archive display, with multiple pieces of Muppet items, might have made me an emotional wreck. Luckily, that was towards the end of the day. Lol 😂

But after look at this set of pins that was exclusive to the D23 Expo a few weeks ago, it’s giving very rushed vibes. If you got your hands on one of these, congratulations. “Hoopla, Hyperspace Hoopla! I’m Snig! I’m Oopla! Let’s have some fun!” 🎶🚀

Finally, getting around to posting more photos from D23 Expo. My Friday cosplay was inspired by Oopla! Who was one of the Hyperspace Hoopla host from Star Wars weekends back in the day. While making this cosplay I was reflecting on this character, my time in Disney-MGM Studios, and my experience at Star Wars weekends. I can confidently say that Oopla was my “Gateway” character into loving the Star Wars franchise.

I had amazing time with friends visiting Ravensburger North America , Disney Music , and the Star Wars booth, and along the way ran into cast members and performers that had a deep personal connection to the show. What amazing day! ✨
