Another stop on our Virgin Voyages adventure! 🇻🇮⚓️

Today we visited St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The scenery coming into port was beautiful, with green hills, blue water, and sailboats scattered across the harbor.

I spent a little time exploring Frederiksted near the cruise pier. It’s a quieter port than many I’ve visited, with local vendors, a few shops, and historic Fort Frederik.

I didn’t venture far this time, but I enjoyed the views and getting to see another Caribbean destination.

Sometimes the best part of a port visit is simply taking in the scenery!

Well, Grand Turk wasn’t on the original itinerary, but sometimes the unexpected stops turn out pretty good! 🇹🇨⚓️

With weather forcing us to skip Bimini, Virgin Voyages brought us to Grand Turk instead.

I spent some time walking around the cruise port, doing a little shopping, and checking out the exhibits about John Glenn and the early days of America’s space program. Pretty interesting history to stumble across on a Caribbean island!

It was hot and humid, so I eventually made my way back to Valiant Lady.

Another destination checked off my list, and another reminder that sometimes you just have to go with the flow.

We had to say farewell to Bermuda 🇧🇲, but not before thanking her for having us!

Beautiful water, rich history, island charm, and some unforgettable moments made this stop a special one. Having an overnight stay gave us the opportunity to experience Bermuda beyond the typical cruise port visit, including a beautiful sunset on the water and a little local nightlife.

It’s goodbye for now, but definitely not forever. Bermuda is a place I’d love to come back to!
