And let me tell you—they go FAST. 💔

Transitioning from homeschool life to a traditional school schedule has me in my feelings a little bit. As a homeschool mom, we could take a trip whenever we wanted. School could wait. Life could be lived fully and freely.
But now… now I’m looking at a calendar that only gives me a few weeks a year with my boys, and it’s hitting hard.

Jacob is already on summer 11 of 18.
Lucas is on summer 5.
And I’m starting to panic. 😔

So yeah… I’m planning a last-minute vacation because I want to make every summer count. Every beach day. Every road trip. Every late-night ice cream stop.
Because before I know it—they’ll be grown, and I won’t be the center of their world anymore.

I’ve always been the girl who squeezes every single second out of vacation. Like, clock out—gone. I want every minute. I don’t waste time at home because vacations are rare and I try to soak up every second.

But y’all… this time, I got off that cruise Friday, and actually had Saturday and Sunday to get my life together. Laundry? Done. Floors? Sorta clean. Groceries? Kinda. Did I change clothes all weekend? Honestly… questionable. But for once, I didn’t roll into Monday looking like my suitcase threw hands with me.

I’m not saying I’m giving up my maxed-out trips, but this whole “transition weekend” thing?
It’s got potential.
