Sometimes I sit with the thought of how different my life might have been if I didn't have to spend so much of it healing from things that were never my fault.

If I had been given the space to simply live, to dream freely, to grow without carrying the weight of someone else's choices-who might I have become? What parts of me would have flourished instead of just surviving?
