FINALLY cleared by the doctors and back where I belong, on the water! 🎣
Today couldn't have been with a better crew. Heath and his son Bo have been fishing with me for years, and it's always a blast getting them back in the boat.
I'll be honest, sitting on the sidelines these past few months has been tough. My captains have been absolutely hammering fish and posting giant catches every day, and I've been getting more jealous with every photo. I was starting to wonder if they had caught them all!
Turns out there were still a few left. We ended up putting 12 big lake trout in the boat, Bos arms will be sore tomorrow!
Nothing beats being back on the water with great people, bent rods, and fish hitting the deck. Feels good to be back.

Captain Matt is back! After dropping his truck off for the new wrap, he headed north to Alaska to catch up with Tall Tale Charters and they never disappoint! We’re all jealous Captain. Maybe we’ll have to do a company trip when we finish all these charters! FISH ON
