Ciao from Puglia! 🇮🇹

For the past nine days, Tim and I have been exploring the Salento coast—from Nardò and Gallipoli to Santa Maria di Leuca, and so many beautiful towns in between.

This trip has been more than a vacation. We’ve been experiencing each destination through a different lens, researching what it might be like to one day call this incredible region home. Some towns have completely captured our hearts, while others, although full of charm and character, simply aren’t the right fit for us.

Of course, no Italian road trip would be complete without a few parking challenges, unexpected detours, and plenty of laughs along the way. That’s all part of the adventure—and honestly, part of what makes Italy so unforgettable.

Tomorrow we head inland for one final stop in Ceglie Messapica before continuing our journey. Until then, here are a few of the moments that have made this corner of Italy so special.

A perfect day on the beach. 🌊☀️

Today Tim and I spent the day at Togo Bay Beach Club, and it was everything we were hoping for. Relaxed beach vibes, attentive service, delicious food and drinks, and some of the most beautiful turquoise water we’ve seen.

Sometimes the best travel days aren’t about checking off a list—they’re about slowing down, soaking up the sunshine, and appreciating where you are.

If you’re visiting this part of Puglia, Togo Bay is definitely worth adding to your itinerary.

Naples… our first stop. 🇮🇹

Every time I come back, it feels like coming home.

The energy, the history, the culture, the food—there’s simply nowhere else quite like it. I know Naples isn’t for everyone, but for me, it’s where my story began. It will always hold a special place in my heart and will always draw me back, not only for the city itself but for the family that calls it home.

Now it’s time to head south and begin our Puglia adventure. Next stop: Nardò.

Ciao, Italy! 🇮🇹✈️

The bags are packed, passports are in hand, and Tim and I are officially wheels up for our next adventure.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be exploring everything from vibrant cities and charming seaside towns to incredible food, hidden gems, and, of course, plenty of gelato along the way. As always, I’ll be sharing a mix of the highlights, a few behind-the-scenes moments, and hopefully some inspiration for your own future travels.

One of my favorite parts of traveling is discovering those places that make you slow down, look around, and simply soak it all in. I have a feeling this trip is going to be full of those moments.

Follow along as we experience Italy—one flight, one meal, and one unforgettable memory at a time.

And yes… there will definitely be recommendations coming home with me.

So Tim and I have been in Roatán, Honduras for four nights so far, with two more still to go. Today is my birthday, and we actually celebrated Tim’s on our arrival day — despite a five-hour delay in Miami. As frustrating as travel delays can be, I’m grateful we still made it in time for the South American Food & Wine Festival here on the island.

Sometimes that’s travel. The travel gods don’t always align, and there’s nothing you can do except roll with it and enjoy the journey anyway.

I haven’t posted much yet because I’ve really been trying to enjoy the experience and not live entirely through the lens of my camera, but I’m happy to say that Roatán has been absolutely wonderful so far.

We’re staying at the Kimpton Grand Roatán Resort, and the property is beautiful — relaxed luxury with a true island vibe. We’ve explored a bit beyond the resort as well, including a water taxi over to West End for breakfast and wandering around town, a visit to the chocolate factory, and a fun stop at a monkey and sloth sanctuary before the cruise crowds arrived.

The island itself is definitely a bit rustic in places, but everyone has been incredibly welcoming and kind. Everything here moves on island time, which honestly has been the perfect reminder to slow down and simply take it all in.
