I really don’t post much about tournaments on here, but this night of fishing deserves one. Tournament fishing is really the only time I get to catch these fish myself, and I enjoy every second of it.
After an epic night battling big fish nonstop, I never thought we’d be sending back 44–45 pounders because they were considered “small.” After catching 13 fish over the 30-pound mark with 7 of them over 40 lbs we ended up setting the record for the most weight ever weighed in during a tournament at 137.3 lbs.

5 hours of absolute flathead chaos another 52lb giant hits the boat along with a pile of other quality fish. Barely had time to sit down, but that’s exactly how we like it!

Todd and his brother Tyler wanted to get their father out for an experience he really hadn’t had before, he ended up getting his personal best with a 46lb!! Definitely a night none of us will forget.

Big fish of the trip went:
28lb ,30lb ,30lb ,32lb ,33lb ,35lb ,41lb ,46lb ,52lb

…with plenty more solid 20s mixed in
