On Tuesday, some of the Living The Experience crew joined for their William Whipper Reading Circle, dedicated in memory of Historian Lenwood Sloan.

The series honors William Whipper, a 19th-century entrepreneur and Underground Railroad operator from Columbia, PA.

This session also included Dyymond Whipper Young, a Philadelphia artist, educator, and descendant of William Whipper.

Attendees were able to collaborate and figure out ways to honor our local history by way of art for generations to come.

The reading circle will recommence in the fall. Great job !
