A close friend of mine recently let me know he had some friends coming into town and couldn’t think of anything better then to put them on a silver king. Without hesitation we found them a spot on the schedule and we were on the water. With a bit of coaching on the unique fighting technique tarpon require, when this fish bit Stone was more than prepared to stand on the bow and take on the battle. He made short work of this beast but it worked him too! This was a first time experience for him and his group and it’s sure to be one we’ll never forget. This fish was carefully released and swam off strong to continue their migration!

Looking back on this nice redfish on an exceptionally cold day this past winter. The day started off with a slow bite but when this fish showed herself we knew we were in for a good day.
