Guess what?! My friends at Dreamsickle Kids have something super cool to help kids like me who have sickle cell disease 💉❤️

It’s called the Dream Transportation Program! 🚌💨

If you ever need a ride to the doctor, to get your medicine, or even a ride home after the hospital, they can help! 🏥➡️🏠

All you gotta do (with a grown-up’s help) is fill out a quick form 📋 and boom—you might get a ride!

🛑 This is only for non-emergency rides (so not 911 stuff!)
✅ But it is for regular appointments, checkups, and sickle cell events

If you live in Nevada, this is for YOU! 🙌

🚨 Funding is limited, so ask your grown-up to request a ride early!

Dreamsickle Kids Foundation is thrilled to announce that we have received a grant from Pfizer in collaboration with Rarity Health to provide transportation assistance for sickle cell patients and caregivers in Nevada! This program aims to reduce barriers to accessing medical care by helping individuals get to and from their routine medical appointments, local SCD events, and hospital discharges.

🚗 The Dream Transportation Program opens April 15th! 🚗

How It Works:
✅ Primary Use: Transportation to routine SCD-related medical appointments
✅ Secondary Use: Transportation home after hospital admission
✅ Additional Use: Limited assistance for local SCD events in Nevada

🚫 This service is NOT for emergency hospital transportation. If you have a medical emergency, please call 911.

How to Apply:
🔹 Complete a transportation request form and intake application
🔹 Provide trip details (origin & destination)
🔹 Assistance may cover partial or full travel costs based on funding availability
🔹 Insurance transportation benefits may provide additional or alternative coverage—contact your insurer for details

I’m 9 (almost 10!) and I live with sickle cell disease here in Las Vegas. My birthday is on Earth Day – April 22nd 🌎 and thanks to the Warrior Drive, I get to have TWO birthday parties every year! 🎂🎈

The Warrior Drive is a FREE party for kids like me and families in the community to have fun, learn about sickle cell & rare diseases, and feel celebrated like superheroes 💪🏾🦸🏽‍♀️

Come dressed up for the costume contest (prizes for best hero outfits!)
