Did you know September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month?
Over 160,000 children worldwide are diagnosed with cancer each year. The five year survival rate for childhood cancer has increased from 50% to 80% in recent decades. But it is still the leading cause of death from disease in children in the United States.
How can you help ? How can you make a difference ?
In honor of the children and families affected by this disease I will be running a half marathon with the proceeds going to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
