Halloween time is starting August 21 at the Disneyland Resort! Lots of returning favorites like Haunted Mansion Holiday, Guadians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark, Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, and the Happiest Haunts Guided Tour. Don’t even get me started on the amazing treats and food offerings to be announced later.

Also returning is Oogie Boogie Bash. Running on 33 select nights at California Adventure from August 18 through Halloween night. Tickets start at $139 and go on sale June 18. This event always sells out extremely quick. Hit my DMs and let’s get that spooky Halloween trip to the “Happiest Place on Earth”booked ASAP!

Just in case you thought Walt Disney World was only about theme parks. There are some incredibly beautiful and challenging golf courses on property to get away from the lines and crowds.

There are three 18 hole championship level courses and a 9 hole course available for your golfing pleasure. “Grumpy’s Gauntlet” is part of an extensive redesign of Disney’s Magnolia course. Disney’s Oak Trail course has the option of 9 holes of golf or 9 holes of foot golf to enjoy while you’re taking a break from the parks. Disney’s Palm course is an 18 hole Arnold Palmer designed course. My personal favorite, Disney’s Lake Buena Vista course is currently closed for renovations. If mini golf is more your speed, Disney’s Winter Summer Land course offers two 18 hole courses that are loads of fun. There is also Fantasia Gardens which offers an 18 hole traditional mini golf course themed to the movie as well as the Fairways course.

Some great happenings going on at “The Happiest Place on Earth” this summer. Still have a little bit of time to enjoy the 70th anniversary celebration, but only until August 9th.

Lots of new stuff happening at the Spire as well. Friday is the day for the new mission on Smugglers Run. Also starting on Friday is Red, Oscar, and Grek, the adorable BD droids making appearances. We got to see them on our voyage aboard the Wish and their unique personalities are amazing!

Starting July 2 Soaring Across America will make its debut at California Adventure.

Returning on August 14 is a revamped version the “Walk in Walt’s Footsteps” tour. This has always been a personal favorite of mine and I am very excited for it’s return.
