Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel FAM Trip ~ Day One ✨🇲🇽
We are HERE and honestly, day one did not disappoint. Our host Kyla came through with an absolutely incredible itinerary and Puerto Vallarta has had us feeling like royalty from the moment we landed.
I do want to take a second and say this, FAM trips are so much more than what they look like on the surface. This isn’t a girls trip. This is work, and really important work at that. Getting to meet the teams who will be taking care of my clients, walking the property myself, experiencing the service firsthand - that’s what allows me to match the right traveler to the right resort with complete confidence. There’s no brochure that replaces actually being here.
Now, let’s talk about the arrival because WOW. Private drivers at the airport, welcome champagne, a relaxing massage, and I got to choose my own pillow and room scent. I walked into my full butler service suite and was greeted with a personal mixology setup and a table full of gorgeous gifts. I mean… they set the tone immediately.
Brunch was next level! Table side guacamole, grilled shrimp and Oaxaca cheese tacos, and a passion fruit Malibu cocktail that I’m still thinking about. From there we toured Villa Premiere, which holds a distinction I have not seen anywhere else in Puerto Vallarta. It is the only hotel in PV that is simultaneously all inclusive, adult only, boutique, oceanfront, and every single room has an ocean view. Right next door is their sister property Buenaventura, a beautiful family-friendly resort, and the best part is that Villa Premiere guests have access to those amenities as well.
The evening theme was “In the Clouds” and we absolutely delivered. We had a private mixology class with Enrique, the head mixologist. I personally shook up my own passion fruit cocktail , followed by a tequila tasting before heading to dinner at La Perla. We ordered every single appetizer on the menu. Roasted cauliflower, tuna tartare, mushroom ceviche, artichoke salad — all of it. I tried the hibiscus tacos from the vegan menu and I’m telling you, do not sleep on those. Then came the dessert spread: their famous churros that are unlike any churro you’ve had before, pistachio cake, cheesecake, and a Biscoff cake that was absolutely divine. To close out the night, a Carajillo — my usual go-to — but this version was on another level entirely.
I ended the night soaking in my en suite whirlpool bath with both balcony doors wide open, the sound of the waves rolling in, and honestly… I slept better than I have in months. 🌊
