I wanted to give my honest feedback as a mom of 4 for families looking to book a cruise vacation...
We did a short 3 night cruise, since it was our first time taking our kids. My daughter did not want to go- she didn't like the idea of being on a ship at sea. She quickly changed her mind. She said most of the time it didn't even feel like she was on a ship (I told her this, but kids never listen to their mom 🙄).
I have been nervous about taking my 2 littles, because of my fear of them trying to climb the rails or falling off the ship. Because of this, we did an oceanview room instead of a balcony room- HUGE piece of mind. I warned my boys about the edge and they steered clear- we also always hold hands when walking outside.
I booked 2 connecting rooms- much needed for the space, extra tv at rest time, and the extra bathroom. We went on the Liberty of the Seas- there was so much to do, especially in the short time we were on the ship.
My #1 perk of a cruise vacation, instead of a different type of vacation... KIDS CLUBS.
My kids loved them. They only went in the evenings, since we did a lot during the day. But it was so nice being able to drop them off and they got to run around and play with other kids their age. My husband and I got to have a drink just the two of us and got a little break on an otherwise very busy vacation.
