My heart is overflowing with pride.

I am incredibly proud of Dr. Chauntel Altidor, Co-Founder Nancy, and the entire Black in Rehab team for the incredible work they are doing in Ghana.

Almost immediately after arriving, they were invited to appear on Ghanaian national television to share their mission of advancing neurodiversity, autism awareness, advocacy, education, and inclusion. What an amazing opportunity to amplify such an important message on an international stage!

This is more than travel… it is purpose in motion.

Witnessing healthcare professionals use their gifts to educate, serve communities, build meaningful relationships, and create lasting impact across borders is truly inspiring. Their work is opening doors, changing perspectives, and planting seeds that will continue to grow for generations.

The Trump administration said that people with temporary visas seeking to adjust their immigration status to obtain green cards must return to their home countries to “do so through consular processing,” in a major change from current practice.

A statement from a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services spokesperson said that those who come to America on non-immigrant visas, including students, temporary workers and tourists, are expected to be in the United States for a short time and for a specific purpose.

The move is the latest by the Trump administration targeting legal immigration in the country.

ATTN: All US Travel Citizens

Starting February 1, 2026, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will begin enforcing a new travel rule at U.S. airports:

➡️ If you don’t have a REAL ID-compliant form of identification, such as a REAL ID driver’s license, passport book, passport card, or another accepted ID, you will be charged a $45 TSA identity verification fee to go through security screening. This new fee is part of the TSA’s ConfirmID process — a verification system for travelers who arrive without proper ID.

💡 What this means for you:
• No REAL ID? You’ll need to pay the $45 fee to verify your identity before boarding.
• The fee covers up to 10 days of travel, so short round-trip travel within that period won’t incur another charge.
• Having a passport (book or card) or other accepted ID means you avoid the fee.

🔎 Tips to avoid extra charges or delays:
1. Bring a REAL ID or accepted ID to the airport
2. Apply for your REAL ID early through your state DMV
3. Arrive at the airport earlier than usual if you think you might need alternative confirmation
