Today marks JUST 3️⃣0️⃣ DAYS until the opening of Universal’s much-anticipated Epic Universe theme park‼️ Can you believe it’s already less than one month away? I feel so lucky and grateful that I’m going to get a preview of this park in just TWO DAYS! One of the areas I’m most excited for is Place Cachée - Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic!
Walk through the portal and enter the world of 1920s wizarding Paris. Here you can catch glimpses of fantastic beasts as you stroll the magical cafes and shops of Place Cachée. Then take the Métro-Floo to the British Ministry of Magic™ and plunge into new thrills with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Experience the wonder of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Ministry of Magic. Here are 5 experiences guests may have in this area:
1️⃣ Shop for the Finest Wands at Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique - Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique offers some of the world’s finest wands, designed by esteemed wandmaker, Cosme Acajor. Acajor’s wands are packaged in unique three-sided boxes, and in each box you’ll find a letter from the wandmaker herself, as well as locations throughout the wizarding world where you can practice your spell-casting.
2️⃣ Dine at a French Café in Wizarding Paris - The streets of wizarding Paris are home to delightful cafes, including Café L’air De La Sirène™. Your family can dine inside or outside as they enjoy French baked goods, sandwiches, plats du jour and desserts. They can quench their thirst with Butterbeer along with a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks including beer, cocktails and French wines.
3️⃣ Experience the Thrills of Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry - Your family will enter the Paris Métro-Floo and travel to the British Ministry of Magic™ where Dolores Umbridge™ is about to stand trial. You will board a lift and travel through the Ministry as they encounter Harry, Ron, Hermione… and some uninvited guests on their way to the trial. It’s a thrilling race against time in Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry
4️⃣ Magical Acts Take the Stage at Le Cirque Arcanus - In an attempt to bring Le Cirque Arcanus back to its former glory, ringmaster Skender has stolen Newt Scamander’s suitcase which contains fantastic beasts from around the globe. It’s up to circus employee Gwenlyn to rescue the creatures in this spectacular mix of live performers, amazing puppetry, dazzling special effects and more.
5️⃣ New Interactive Wand Experiences - Your family can sharpen their spell-casting skills with amazing new interactive wand experiences in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Ministry of Magic™. They'll immerse themselves in the magic with interactive wands* that enable them to cast spells and interact with fantastic beasts and enchanted objects throughout wizarding Paris.
This new addition adds to Universal Orlando Resort’s already magical offerings — now boasting three worlds of magic with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
