John and Rick continue their Halloween Horror Nights 35 adventure with a visit to one of Universal Orlando’s most iconic HHN transformations — Mel’s Die-In!

For HHN 35, things have gotten even more gruesome as a hungry horde of zombie carhops takes over Mel’s Die-In…and according to Universal, they’re ready to serve YOU up on a platter. 😱

The classic neon diner becomes the perfect creepy backdrop once the fog rolls in, making it one of our favorite spots to stop, grab some photos, and soak up the Halloween Horror Nights atmosphere.

🎪💀 JOHN & RICK ENTER THE SIDESHOW OF DECAY AT HHN 35! 💀🎪

John and Rick continue their journey through the fog at Halloween Horror Nights 35 with a walk through Sideshow of Decay, one of this year’s terrifying scare zones at Universal Orlando Resort.

Hidden inside the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares, this twisted junkyard is filled with discarded relics and horrors from Halloween Horror Nights’ past. Cindy Caine, daughter of legendary HHN icon The Caretaker, has teamed up with Dr. Oddfellow to open a portal and resurrect decayed nightmares from years gone by. 😱🩸

Now those nightmares are loose in the streets… and John and Rick are walking straight through them. 👀

From creepy characters and haunting scenery to some serious HHN nostalgia, Sideshow of Decay is a must-see for longtime Halloween Horror Nights fans.

🚌🎮 John and Rick Visit the Fortnite Battle Bus at HHN 35! 👻🔥

John and Rick made their way through the fog and stopped by one of the coolest sights at Halloween Horror Nights 35 — the Fortnite Battle Bus!

Straight out of Fortnitemares, the Battle Bus is a must-see for Fortnite fans visiting HHN. It’s spooky, fun, and the perfect mix of gaming and Halloween vibes. Of course, John and Rick had to check it out for themselves!

From haunted houses to scare zones and now the Battle Bus, HHN 35 is bringing the thrills at every turn. If you love Fortnite and Halloween Horror Nights, this is definitely one of the standout photo ops of the event.

John and Rick are dropping into Fortnitemares, the all-new Fortnite-inspired scare zone at Halloween Horror Nights 35 at Universal Orlando Resort!

This isn’t your normal Battle Royale. 😱 Guests enter Freaky Fields, a Halloween-themed battleground overtaken by a terrifying force. Along the way, you’ll come face-to-face with the Battle Bus, familiar Fortnitemares characters, and even some creepy additions created especially for Halloween Horror Nights.

For John and Rick, there’s only one mission:

🚢🌴 Carnival Rewards is changing
— and Barefoot Vacation Travel is here to help you understand what’s new!

Starting September 1, 2026, Carnival’s updated loyalty program will introduce a new way for guests to earn status and rewards. Instead of one combined system, Carnival Rewards will use two separate currencies: Stars and Points.

⭐ Stars will help determine your loyalty status level.
💰 Points can be redeemed toward eligible Carnival purchases and rewards.

Guests will earn 3 Stars + 3 Points for every $1 spent on eligible Carnival purchases, including cruise fares, onboard spending, excursions, and gratuities. Casino play can also earn both Stars and Points.

The new program will operate on a two-year qualification cycle, with status levels based on Stars earned:

🔴 Red — Entry Level
🟡 Gold — 10,000 Stars
⚪ Platinum — 50,000 Stars
💎 Diamond — 100,000 Stars

Current VIFP members won’t be starting from scratch. Existing status will carry over as the starting point under the new program, and current Diamond members will receive special grandfathered status protections.

There are a lot of changes coming, and we know loyalty programs can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. That’s where Barefoot Vacation Travel comes in! 🌴🚢 Plot twist: the interior cabin on Margaritaville at Sea Islander is actually REALLY nice. 😂✨

John and Rick checked out an interior cabin aboard Margaritaville at Sea Islander, and let’s just say… this was no tiny shoebox situation. 👏

This cabin was surprisingly spacious, super clean, and downright comfortable. Plenty of room to relax, unpack, and recover from all the very hard work of cruising… you know, like eating cheeseburgers, sipping frozen drinks, and deciding whether to hit the pool or grab another snack. 🍔🍹😎

If you think “interior cabin” means cramped and boring, think again. This one felt fresh, roomy, and ready for vacation mode. Honestly, the only real problem is that you may spend more time in the room than you planned because it’s just that cozy. 😂

And let’s be honest — when you’re sailing Margaritaville at Sea, your room is really your recharge station between all the food, fun, music, and island vibes. 🌺🌊

So yes, you can save some money, stay in an interior cabin, and still feel like you’re living the good cruise life.

From colorful spaces and laid-back island vibes to great food, refreshing drinks, ocean views, and plenty of places to kick back and relax, Islander definitely knows how to bring the vacation feeling. 🌊🌺

And let’s be real… nothing beats that feeling of stepping onto a cruise ship and knowing your biggest decision might be pool, snack, cocktail, or all three. 😂🍔🍹
