A customer in Natick requested a Custom Designed Corner Cabinet to replace one that had to be removed due to lead paint. It was sentimental to them as it had previously been hand-built by the grand father in the 1940's when he originally built the house. We hope this would have been to his satisfaction.

Quick Basement Remodel in Bolton, Ma. We faced some interesting problems where we had to hide an electrical panel and and were faced with an opening requiring an off sized interior "barn door." We solved the problem of hiding the panel by creating three panels on the wall, one of which is a door that opens to the panel. The other two are just applied to the wall. The barn door we ultmately just fabricated in our shop in Leominster.

Having a big delay on the window delivery meant we had to get creative with the siding and trim. But, with the windows ...

HazBro was asked to use a new product by Trex, called Trex Elevations. The entire deck is either steel or composite material. It will still be standing long after the house rots around it. While the workability of the material was not necessarily more difficult to work with than normal pressure treated, there is a learning curve to it and the cost is notably higher.

The Benefits we noted were the rock solid structure compared to the weight of the material. There were no bows or cupped material that you normally have to contend with while using pressure treated material. And, the fact that it takes maintenance free to a whole new level with its epoxy coated steel is a rather large plus.

The draw backs were the cost and the fasteners. When you're dealing with thousands of fasteners, the time needed to drill into the steel with the provided (and expensive) self tapping screws is something to take into account. It easily doubled the time to lay the decking.

Our two cents...
