A lazy river, FlowRider, AND bowling alley at an adults-only all-inclusive? Yes, please!
Let me introduce you to Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres!
My girlfriends and I spent a few days here this past summer, and I enjoyed it enough that I already have clients booked to experience it for themselves in spring 2027!
Here's a fun little detail about this property: Ocean Allure was originally designed to be a family resort before plans changed and it became adults-only. Luckily, they kept some of the fun stuff!
A few things you'll find around the resort:
Lazy river
FlowRider surf simulator
Bowling alley
Virtual golf
Pickleball
Plenty of dining options (and some seriously good food!)
24-hour room service included for all guests
A beautiful stretch of Costa Mujeres beach
More than 80% of the rooms have ocean views, the resort is easy to navigate, and the overall design is gorgeous. The lobby alone makes quite the first impression!
One thing I particularly liked about Ocean Allure is that you can have a completely laid-back beach vacation OR fill your days with activities without ever leaving the property. It's a fun option for couples, friend groups, or anyone who wants a little more to do than just sit by the pool (although there's absolutely nothing wrong with that either!).

Tell me about a time your flight got delayed or canceled. These stories always bring fellow travelers together.

If I have learned anything since becoming a travel advisor, even if it hasn't happened to me or my clients ... yet... is that travel isn’t perfect.

And that’s okay.

My goal, when we work together ... is NOT perfection. I simply cannot promise that.
My goal for us is to help you feel supported, informed, and confident when things don’t go exactly as planned, so I track your flights from the moment they are booked, keep up with changes and help you make choices in the moment while everyone else is standing IN LINE hoping the gate agent can solve their problems.
I know we've all had at least ONE flight delay.

What is one lesson you've learned about yourself when traveling?
The lesson I learned the hard way when traveling is that my family cannot handle much planned activity on our first travel day!
Last summer we took the train from Baltimore to NYC. We were all so excited to be there! We dropped off our luggage and hit the streets.
First mistake - not having a solid lunch plan. We ordered hotdogs from a street vendor only to find out he didn't take cards - at all! My kiddos and I had to stand there and wait for hubby to run to the next block to find an ATM to free us from our hotdog cart prison!
Second mistake - I planned for us to see Lion King that first evening. After an early morning train ride, traipsing around NYC for hours, the trying to sit still for a show, no one was having it! My 5 year old had a total meltdown/tantrum before going in the show and the rest of us were dozing off the whole time! That was an expensive nap!
Lesson learned - the hard way!

Let's be FRFR right now. The holiday hustle and bustle can SUCK! (Sorry for the harsh words, but I want you to know how I really feel!)

Between the shopping, cooking, decorating, parties, and approximately 400 things on our to-do lists, who couldn't use a little Caribbean sunshine?

Here's a travel advisor tip: That sweet spot between Thanksgiving and Christmas can be a FABULOUS time to sneak away to Mexico or the Caribbean. Holiday crowds haven't fully arrived, and there can be some fantastic resort values before peak holiday pricing kicks in.
