One of the biggest things I wish travelers understood:
CHEAPEST and BEST VALUE are not the same thing.
And I'm much more interested in finding you the second one.
Sometimes spending a little more gets you a significantly better room, better beach, easier flights, better location or an experience that fits your family SO much better.
Sometimes the upgrade isn't worth another penny and I'll happily tell you to skip it.
That's where I come in.
My job isn't to spend as much of your money as possible. 😂
It's to help you spend your vacation budget WELL.

A good vacation includes downtime!
For me, a good trip means fun and relaxation for my clients. That definition shapes how I plan, what I prioritize, and how I prepare people before they travel. When expectations are aligned, trips feel amazing and that's what I want for YOU when we work together this year.
So share... tell me, so I know more about YOU... what makes something GOOD on vacay?

How many options did you look at the last time you planned a vacation yourself?

I want to know in comments.... Because.... something I partner with you to do is NARROW IT DOWN. I have shifted from sending 3-4 options to sending ONE. But, don't freak out! It's the BEST ONE!

The internet is great at giving options to the point of confusion and exhaustion... I mean, at what point can you really make the RIGHT decision?

My job is helping people understand which option actually make sense for them. If that doesn't work, then we talk a little more and narrow it down AGAIN.

I spend time learning the differences that don’t always show up in reviews — things like location trade-offs, timing issues, and what feels great in photos versus real life. That’s why my recommendations are never random. They are JUST FOR YOU. So... for reals, how many hotels did you look at last time you did this on your own?

Who’s been eyeing a Disney cruise?
Disney Cruise Line just released their itineraries through 2027 and some of them are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Picture it - Barabados on a Disney cruise, Iceland on a Disney cruise, a transatlantic Disney cruise, a Panama Canal Disney cruise, just to name a few!
Disney Cruises continue to be my family’s favorite vacation! We love it so much, we booked for fall break! Imagine kids completely entertained, parents relaxing whole enjoying a frosty beverage and watching their kids have the time of their life!
Here are some of the Disney cruise line differences that just make sense for our family:
1. No casinos (aka smoke pits)
2. No drink packages (aka adults acting a fool)
3. The food. (Enough said)
4. The level of service (unmatched)
5. Refundable deposits!!
6. Disney’s private islands 😍
7. Soft drinks included with cruise fare (if you know Charles Tipton, this is a huge bonus!)
If you’ve sailed Disney before, you know! And you’re already eligible to book 2027 itineraries!
If you’ve never sailed Disney before, you have to try it to see what I’m talking about! You can book 2027 itineraries starting tomorrow!
Place your 10% deposit and pay on your cruise for almost a year before you sail!
Comment “cruise” below and let’s get your family ready for the best vacation yet!

What was your biggest WORRY the last time you tried to plan a vacation?

Some of my clients need to arrange pet-care or they have a child with a disability. Some of my clients work 65 hours a week and rarely take a vacation or their mother is home ill and they just feel like they cannot leave for very long. Some of my clients have a child who has never flown or are breastfeeding. Some of my clients want to travel solo but aren't sure how to make friends while traveling.

One thing I take seriously is preparing travelers for real-life travel not just best-case scenarios.

Part of how I serve my clients is helping them understand what’s normal, what’s avoidable, and what’s worth planning around before they ever leave home. We come up with a plan, I help them find the best dog daycare, prepare their home, fastest way to return in case of an emergency, how to travel while breastfeeding.

Preparation changes the entire experience. What was your biggest WORRY the last time you tried to plan a vacation?

What's one thing about your last vacation that you LOVED? Tell me below!
This is one of the reasons I want to talk before sending a quote for your trip (especially if we have never worked together before). It's a first step sets the tone for everything that comes next when I'm reearching and putting together a recommendation for your NEXT vacation.
Before I ever look at destinations, resorts, or flights, I want to understand you. If you are worried about being "sold" during the call that I require, remember, I partner with my clients and you are always in control of the choices we make together.
I’ve learned through training and real experience that great travel planning isn’t about starting with options. It’s about starting with people. When that step is skipped, trips tend to feel generic instead of thoughtful. I do not plan generic vacations.
So, tell me ... I really want to know (for future research purposes): What's one thing about your last vacation that you LOVED?

I recently had a couple come to me looking for a parents' getaway during Fall Break.
The kiddos would be staying at their grandparents' and this couple wanted to plan a last minute romantic getaway. They'd like to stay around $5,000 with flights and accommodations. The wanted shorter flight times (so to not be too far from the kiddos), they want total relaxation with a little fun entertainment mixed in, they'd love a private beach area where they can relax without being disturbed, a comfortable room, and beautiful, clear water.
In walks Sandals Royal Bahamian. This resort is swanky and all inclusive. (Once a favorite hangout of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor). They'll not have to worry about where to eat ever during their trip. With 12 unique restaurants, they'll never get bored. Just a short boat ride away, Barefoot Cay, has a spa, a Zen garden, and two beaches — one that’s ideal for relaxing and the other for exploring, with some of the region’s best snorkeling.
They won't have to worry about bringing any additional $$ because this resort is truly all-inclusive. No tips, free non-motorized water sports, top shelf liquors, and even free shuttle to/from the resort!
Check out the proposal I sent them. Do you think it checks all of the boxes for their perfect vacation? I'll add the link to the proposal in the comments so you can see all of the pretty photos that go along with it!

Let’s talk PTO
Is anyone else very limited in when you can use your PTO?
My husband works for an insurance company and cannot request PTO during the first quarter. That’s 3 stinking months that we cannot travel together. 😭
As and educator, I only get 3 (yes,3) personal days to use throughout the school year. This is why so much of my travel is done in the summer months.
I daydream about retirement and having an open schedule to travel to the Caribbean during February and European Christmas markets in early December. Le sigh.
How about you? Do you have flexibility in your schedule to travel when you want, or are you limited on when you can travel?

When I try to describe my business, I feel like I use the word "luxury" too much. Luxury Travel Advisor, blah, blah, blah. What does that even mean? I only book 5 ⭐ resorts? Nah, that doesn't seem quite right, either.

So I went on the hunt for a new word to describe what I add to someone's vacation. The thesaurus wasn't really a great help. That's when I turned to the dictionary. What does luxury really mean? Perhaps something different for everyone?

I feel as though the dictionary really does a great job describing what I add to someone's vacation. I am not a booking engine, you can go online and do that on your own. My services can add abundance, ease, and comfort. It's not REQUIRED to use a travel advisor, but if you want ease, comfort, and indulgences (see:luxury), you will.
