📣Wildflower Boutique Ribbon Cutting Is Friday At Noon! This Friday (April 17), stop by Wildflower at 41 W. Union St. in Liberty to show your support for their celebratory ribbon-cutting. Since March 13, Wildflower has taken over the space formerly occupied by Arrows Boutique and is settled in for an exciting new beginning.🌷🌹

The business is being carried on by former employees of Arrows, Kari and Ayla Bartram. Kari Bartram has taken over ownership of the storefront, working hand-in-hand with her daughter, 16-year-old Ayla Bartram. Taking over the store was her daughter’s idea, and it took some convincing to get her mom on board. Once Kari was persuaded, they planned the venture together—hoping to turn it into a successful business.

According to Kari, she was able to take over the turn-key boutique from Jennifer Carson and continue the tradition now as Wildflower, focusing on affordability and beauty. Wildflower offers a curated selection of merchandise, including stylish clothing, purses/wallets, and jewelry. The store features a variety of trendy and affordable options to suit different tastes and styles, making it a go-to destination for shoppers looking to refresh their wardrobes or find unique gifts.

Since the beginning of ninth grade, co-owner Ayla has attended an online school while dealing with hip dysplasia. This condition causes the hip socket to be too shallow to properly cover the ball-shaped top of the thigh bone, leading to joint instability and inevitable pain. Despite this, Ayla has not let it slow her down. She is currently helping in the storefront, but after her hip surgery on April 30, she may be away from the store for a while. However, she will remain busy at home printing barcodes, ordering merchandise, managing their social media page, and handling other duties.

If you haven't had a chance to visit Wildflower, this Friday is the perfect time! Come celebrate the new store with a ribbon-cutting and be sure to offer your support. For those unable to attend, Wildflower holds regular hours Tuesday through Saturday. Stay up-to-date on store hours and sales by following Wildflower Boutique on Facebook. ‼️College Corner Community Club Future At Risk Without More Volunteers‼️ The College Corner Community Club (CCCC) is in need of support to continue its longstanding tradition of community events. Residents are encouraged to unite and help save the organization, which is currently struggling to recruit new members—especially those willing to assist at events.

Now or Never: The CCCC has issued a call for residents to attend its quarterly meetings. The next meeting is Monday, June 1, at 6pm at the Grove. Most urgently, the club is seeking volunteers for the Fourth of July celebration, which is a vital event to the community.

For generations, the CCCC has been a cornerstone of community philanthropy. However, without new members, the organization faces the possibility of dissolving—an outcome that could be detrimental to the town’s most popular gatherings.

According to Shannon Maddock, the club’s president, townspeople have traditionally supported the organization with a $15 membership fee, which is appreciated. Nonetheless, participation and full membership are declining, putting the future of the club at risk. Maddock emphasized the need for more residents to attend meetings, join committees, and volunteer at upcoming events.

Those interested can contact Shannon Maddock for more information via email at [email protected] or by texting/calling (513) 266-2904. “We need people to take an active role—our numbers are dwindling. Any support, big or small, is appreciated and will help keep the club alive,” Maddock said after the March meeting. Source: https://uc-connect.org/
