I got crawlers on my Walmart pickup order.

When I got home, I could smell them immediately.

Not in a "fresh earthworm" kind of way.

In a "something died in this bag" kind of way.

The container was moldy, leaking, and apparently had begun its journey back to the earth.

So I went online to request a refund.

My options are:

1. Mark the item as broken and drive the moldy worms back to the store.

OR

2. Print a shipping label and MAIL the moldy worms back.

I feel like there should be a third option.

Please advise. 🪱

I just uploaded the vlog from our stay at the Twelvemile Beach Cabin in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore last weekend!

This was one of those simple Upper Peninsula adventures I'll remember for a long time—hiking in, cooking dinner by Lake Superior, and spending a cold spring night in a rustic backcountry cabin.

Behind the scenes of adventure content...

A lot of people see the hikes, road trips, camping trips, and kayaking adventures, but there's also a lot that happens behind the scenes to help make those experiences possible.

In addition to creating travel and outdoor content, I also work with brands to create user-generated content for their marketing and social media.

Today's projects happen to be for Dole and Kettle Brand, which has led to an unexpected side effect: spending the afternoon trying various fruit cup and jalapeño chip combinations because they're both sitting "on my table" at the same time. 😄

Some pairings are surprisingly good.

Others should never be spoken of again.

Not every workday happens on a trail, but work like this helps fund the adventures you see here.

Now the important question: what's the weirdest food combination you've ever discovered by accident?

May has been an absolute whirlwind in the best way 🌲🚐✨

A lot of miles, campfire smoke, ferry rides, roadside attractions, trails, birds, editing chaos, and probably more gas station coffee than medically recommended.

This little mashup includes a few sneak peeks from videos I haven’t even put together yet 👀 including TWO new long-form YouTube camping adventures that were way too fun not to document.

More trails, weird roadside stops, outdoor chaos, and slightly feral adventures coming soon.

I think we can all be a little more like Donkey and take joy in the complete beauty of nature.. especially the rocks!
Fun fact: I quote "Shrek" a lot in real life along with MANY others so if you don't watch movies you may think me really annoying lol.
