New This Fall at UrmiMusic!

I am excited to introduce a new Indian Vocal Music class for children ages 5–6 — a fun and nurturing introduction to music designed especially for young beginners.

Children will begin developing sur, taal, listening, voice, and confidence in a small-group setting. Music is also such a beautiful way for children to stay connected to Indian culture and language in a natural and joyful way.

🎵 No prior music training needed
👧🧒 Class size limited to just 5 students

A beautiful Independence Day celebration at Livingston Town Hall 🇮🇳🇺🇸

So proud of my students Aditya and Aadya for representing UrmiMusic and singing the national anthems — Aditya with Jana Gana Mana and Aadya with The Star-Spangled Banner.

It was such a special moment to see them perform for the community, and even more meaningful to share the celebration with Ma. ❤️

Grateful for music, community, and moments like these.

So proud of Anupama, Aditi, and Keta for representing UrmiMusic with a lively medley celebrating the legendary Asha Bhosle. 🎶❤️

Their energy, beautiful tricolor look, and joyful performance made this one so special!

Congratulations to our 2026 10 Song Challenge Achievers! 🎶🏆

In addition to their regular coursework, students learn and memorize 10 additional songs as part of the challenge. This journey helps build consistency, discipline, confidence, and a deeper connection with music.

This year, 10 students successfully completed the challenge, each bringing their own unique strengths to the experience. From first-time achievers to students completing the challenge for the ninth time, their dedication and love for music are truly inspiring.
