Disney Cruise Tip: Fish Extenders & Door Decorations

Fish Extenders and decorating your stateroom door are two fun ways to add a little extra magic to your Disney Cruise!

Fish Extenders are a guest-organized gift exchange. You hang an organizer outside your stateroom and exchange small surprises with other families in your group.

A few tips:
• Join a group for your specific sailing before you cruise.
• Keep gifts small and easy to pack.
• Make a list of names and stateroom numbers for deliveries.
• Don’t feel pressured to spend a lot—it’s all about having fun!

For your stateroom door:
• Use magnets for decorations.
• Personalize them for birthdays, celebrations or your family.
• Avoid tape, stickers, glue or anything that could damage the door.
• Don’t cover your room number, locks or handles.
• Bonus: A decorated door makes your room much easier to find!

Neither is required, but they’re fun Disney Cruise traditions!
