One of the most mesmerizing things we experienced in Egypt 🇪🇬✨

The spinning dancers are performing Tanoura, a traditional Egyptian folk dance inspired by the spiritual traditions of Sufi whirling. The dancer spins continuously, sometimes for several minutes, while using colorful layered skirts to create a beautiful, almost hypnotic display.

The spinning symbolizes a spiritual journey and connection between heaven and earth, with the circular movement representing the universe and the eternal cycle of life.

Watching them spin for that long without getting dizzy? 🤯 We’ll just leave that to the professionals! 😂🇪🇬

Egypt continues to surprise us around every corner. ❤️

Sometimes a meeting turns into a friendship, a partnership and a Travel Bestie. ❤️🇪🇬

We met Amal last year while planning this year’s Egypt adventure, and looking back, we’re SO glad we made that connection. It was definitely worth the meeting!

Born and raised in Cairo, Amal is an Egyptologist, historian and passionate storyteller who brings her country’s history and culture to life.

From Cairo to Aswan, Luxor and Hurghada, she’s been right there with us, sharing her knowledge, keeping us laughing and making the experience even more special. And yes, she’s an absolute BADDIE! 🔥😂

Welcome to the African Safari Office, M4A! 😂🦁

One of our Travel Besties walked up to our tent in the Serengeti, saw our clothes hanging everywhere and said, “Ohhh… so y’all have officially moved in.” 😂

Listen, when you’re safari camping, the tent goes from temporary accommodation to full-service headquarters real quick. Clothes drying, shoes airing out, bags everywhere… basically, M4A became the African Safari Office. 😂

No desk. No Wi-Fi. Just zebras, lions, dust, and a whole lot of laundry. 🦓🦁👗

Apparently, we weren’t camping. We were establishing residency. 😂

🦁 Safari Behind the Scenes! 🦁

It’s not all lions, leopards and pretty pictures! 😂

There’s the inside of the Land Rover, HOURS on the dusty roads, and yes… dust in your face, hair and clothes. Sandy was literally dusting off her hair! 🤣

Our neighbors? Impalas, zebras, hyenas, lions and leopards just hanging around like it’s normal. 🦓🦁

We saw women selling fruit along the roads, camped in the wild, and then the moment every safari lover waits for…

🐆 A CHEETAH SIGHTING!

Our amazing guide Didas got the call and immediately HAULED to the location so we could see it. Talk about excitement!

And let’s not forget the biggest safari lesson: DON’T OVERPACK! 😂 We had to consolidate our luggage into smaller suitcases because you simply cannot drag all that stuff around for eight days.

This is the REAL safari: dusty, bumpy, unpredictable, exciting and absolutely unforgettable. ❤️🌍
