We're Summer & Youssef, owners of Global Urban Tours, a tour operator specializing in local, responsible and small-group experiences in our favorite places around the world. We aim to give you real hospitality on our tours and experiences in Los Angeles, showing you the city the way we would with our family and friends. Summer is an LA native (3rd generation) splitting my time between Hollywood an

d Morocco. My grandparents met on the corner of Hollywood & Highland and lived an an apartment down the street from where I live now! My favorite parts of LA are the ethnic enclaves and historic neighborhoods and I especially love searching out unique people and foods in these neighborhoods. My great-grandparents were immigrants who settled in Boyle Heights and worked in a cafe (or owned one--we're not sure) but it's no wonder I've come full circle to share about food, history and immigration in the heart of Hollywood!

Although we've temporarily suspended operations until May 31st due to the current world situation, we look forward to hosting you in our beautiful and diverse city when activities are once again allowed.

In the meantime, please continue to support local vendors as much as possible (they are vital to our business!) and follow us through our social media accounts where we'll be sharing photos and experiences of Los Angeles and beyond.
