Early morning workout at Griffith Park... I’m so happy about my strength level right now... I’m probably in as good of shape as I was 20 years ago... but I cannot lose the 15 pounds I want to lose... it’s a frustration of mine as I age that I haven’t found a solution to ...yet :) 💪

Today was one of those unexpected adventure days I love. Started out hiking to Escondido Falls in Malibu... hiking to the first and even second waterfall is nice and chill and easy... then we decided to hike to the third waterfall, which requires scaling a direct vertical mountain for about 35-40 minutes in off and on again sprinkling rain. Brush is in your face. Rocks are crumbling. And it gets more sketch as you go. By the time we finally reached the top it was clear we could not go down the same way... so, we spent another hour trying to find the road without trespassing on private property... after losing my phone and having to go back through the brush to find it, we found the road... and walked 4.5 miles back to the car... :)

It was a day of challenges and accomplishments, and by the end we were exhausted - but elated. These are the adventures that take you out of your comfort zone and push you... these are the adventures to remember... :)
