SaffaMade is helping introduce the world to high quality, unique South African businesses and products, as well as making both more available to the global market. If you’re like us (Ex-Pats) you most probably have had the following experiences:
1. You’re homesick for South Africa and wish that you could get some treats and goodies as well as wondering if there are any other South Africans around
/near you.
2. You have a friend/colleague that wants to know more about South Africa and/or wanting to visit and they keep asking you a thousand questions on what they can do on their trip. So, after a few years of answering questions, planning friends amazing trips, and dealing with the pain of finding where we can get South African goodies in the US we decided to do something about it. We scoured social media and the internet looking at what the most common questions were from South Africans abroad and travelers going to South Africa and then we tried tracking down as many South African business across the globe. After realizing that the South African business spirit is well and alive and that there was no easy way in finding them we decided to build SAFFA MADE. We built a website that helps people find South African businesses not only in South Africa but globally. A tool that can match the adventurer to their next adventure, the South African trying to find that pack of biltong gold, and most importantly a platform that promotes South African businesses to the global market.
