Hey Guys! 👫🏼👋🏻

Its been over a year since we have posted on here! We got back from our travels in July 2019 and hit the ground running 🏃‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️

But now we’re back on the gram and we’ve got a little announcement to make... we bought our first home - a van! 🚐🔑

We’ve been wanting to convert a van since we got back last year so in the meantime we have been working hard, saving money and finally last week we found our first home (on wheels) 😍

We’ll be converting the van into a campervan over the next few months and thought we would share our journey. It’s not going to be easy given our limited skills but we’re always up for a challenge 😂

We’ll use this page to give updates on our progress and hopefully in the future to document our van life adventures 😍

But we’ve got a long way to go yet, wish us luck because we’re probably going to need it! 😬🤞🏻

So the surprises are over and we are officially back home in the UK 🇬🇧😭

The last 8 months have been even more amazing than we ever expected. We started with a road trip in New Zealand then a month chilling in Bali, a little time in Malaysia, a crazy time in Thailand 😂 then over to Cambodia for some culture, Vietnam for Banh Mi and Beer Hoi, Hong Kong for a taste of sausage rolls 😂, China which is basically a different planet, the beautiful Sri Lanka, safaris in South Africa then onto our final stop, a road trip across the USA 🇺🇸 -

Although we planned for 12 months, sometimes things change and we don’t regret a single thing. In fact we would do it all again tomorrow if anyone wants to fund us 😂😏

For now it’s back home catching up with family and friends. This journey might be over but now it’s time to start a new one 😊💕

So we haven’t been keeping our account updated at all recently! The truth is we have just been too busy enjoying ourselves! Travelling America has been our dream for a long time so we have just been living in the moment instead of scrolling through the gram 📱🙌🏻

We have been in LA for a few days and it is lovely! Such a cool place, especially the beach 😍 And yesterday we celebrated 4th of July by going to see LA Galaxy play against Toronto! Luckily they won 🥳🍻

We took a little detour from Route 66 to check out a bit of Colorado! We ended up visiting Mesa Verde National Park and it was incredible 🙌🏻⛰

The first picture is of a place called Summer Palace which was built by Native Americans in 1270 😲 It was incredible to see!

Yesterday we made it to Amarillo in Texas! We visited the Route 66 famous and ate steak, obviously 🤷🏼‍♀️ Then in the evening we went over to a place called to watch some real cowboys in action! There was singing and there was some toe tappin’ dancing! Yeehaw! 🤠

The Big Texan Steak house has a Man Vs. Food type challenge where you have one hour to eat a 72oz steak and 4 sides! Reckon you could take it on? 😏🥩

Life on the road isn’t always easy! We have already experienced ups and downs and it’s only been a couple of weeks 😅

But when it comes down to it, there is nothing better than the freedom you have to explore when you travel your own way. See something cool? Stop! 🔴Want to eat somewhere random? Stop! 🔴

This life thing doesn’t last long so just get outside and enjoy every single moment 😊💕

We have been cruising along Route 66 for a few days now and it’s been amazing 🚐 🏕

We managed to have our fire in a campsite, spot our first deer and managed to visit a place called Uranus 😂 It was basically a fake little town called Uranus and it also had a fudge factory 🙊

We stopped in the small part of the mother road that passes through Kansas this morning and it was like stepping back in time. Definitely an interesting little town with a lot of history! 🏚
